Good! We planed to release the mod as soon as a desparate fan decides to shoot himself; so for all the others, do it fast and they'll enjoy it soon. Just tell yourself you're doing it for the good of others, you'll be their RNJ martyr!

Lord Dexter is Dead ... bow down before the new master of the Clan Dexter 2

    Some questions ok ?

    1. 66 "provinces" ? c`use there were 66 "provinces" ... ore more `cause there were lot of them devided between warlords ...
    2. All the clans will be included ? There were a lot of them ... but many did perish ...
    3. ... still thinking .. - warning you are working overtime GO HOME !!! -

    Ok have fun guys ...
Hope to see the mod ...

ok ... so to clear up my wierd post .. originally there where 66 provinces in Japan - i think province is the proper term - but as i have written there were a lot more warlords around than provinces .. ok some became wassals .. others did join the ancestors and so on ...
    1. so nope i`m not askin` for more provinces i`m just askin` how many will there be in the mod 66 or 60 as in the original Shogun ?
    2. if i`m not mistaking there were some 160 clans that had some importance in feudal japan, so will the mod include them all ? i dont think thats possible, or will the rebels be the so called small clans and behave like in the original game ...

sorry for my spelling , hope now it`s better

There's no way that 160 clans could even fit on that map, it's not lile Europa Universalis unfortuatnely

    Seriously though:

20 playable factions + 1 unplayable faction the rebels/ minor daymio.

The mod is still in work, yes, as you can see, but also, as you probably can't see, there isn't much of us working on it. Dont get over excited, it'll be done ... once it's done! ;)

Guys, you could ask if they could use your help to get the release out earlier.

And if they accept you can have the current version (mabye)...

    Something to think about...

This is not meant to be a criticism, but wouldn't the community be best served by having only certain moderators able to post to stickies. This post is getting filled with criticism about the release date but that's not its intent. It's meant to give us new information on it's release, is it not? In general, stickies should be clutter free areas so the developers could publish info about their new mods, rather than areas of general conversation. Otherwise, stickies are no different than other topic areas.

So far Ran no Jidai looks good. It's being freely distributed right? The people working on it are working for their pleasure, and have invited us along for the ride. We've all worked on projects before to simply help others. Bugging people about completion date does not contribute to accelerating its completion. We all want it to come out, help with the mod, contribute in some way, cheer people...but we should stay on topic and post in an organized way.

Hi! I guess that person would be me.I remember aswering to your pm, but im sorry if i have missed one. As bysantine Knight sayed.Best way to help is to learn a modding skill and then tell what you can do.That already shows that the one proposing means business. As we are just few,it is hard to incorporate people to the mod, since it takes time from the modding itself to tell someone how to do something, specially when from my personal experience i have been through with lots of people that we have tryed to get into the mod and spent time teaching them what to do and then they have just vanished or lost intrest. We want people ofcourse, but we want people who are then ready to start taking tasks immediately.
