Hmmm... Got to say Epeiros, Baktria, Romani, and Koinon Hellenos. Of course "favourites" change sometimes, but these are the ones at the moment. Mostly I enjoy playing "Hellenic or Roman" factions more than "Barbarians".

Ragabash the trickster
Karthadastim are great, they have a super starting position really, loads of Mnai potential, and therefore plenty of mercs to recruit. However it's best to bump off Epieros and Rome straight away, because they become severe headaches later on. Sadly their settlements consist of a single barbarain male population, but thats the price you pay. Also the casse are muy bien, if you like an easy campaign with not many settlements to conquer. (Perhaps extend their victory conditions EB peeps?)

Right NOW: Baktria. But this changes just about every time I start another faction. Pontos was my close second. I don't know why. Probably because you have so many interesting enemies close by.
When I said Death before Dishonour, I meant alphabetically.
Baktria.
Simply because you get horse archers AND a phalanx.
yuezhi, god i love them soo much
i hate your taking them out.....
bactria second
