Hey Martok, this is a longshot but you don't happen to know a little place named Sebeka in MN? Have family over there, and spent many a childhood on their farm, one of my favoutire places on the planet by all accounts.

I don't personally know anyone in Sebeka, but as a boy I used to pass through the town all the time on my way to summer camp! It's very pretty country up there, as that's where the hardwood trees give way to the coniferous forests.
