    As far as I am aware.
    Agp Used the simple foundations of the pci slots.
    And when they introduced PCI E. Agp became a Issue.
    As the foundations now changed.
    The work aoround was AGP extentions.
    "AGPe" or XGP

    Although i did read that the guys at via had managed to get AGP and Pci running Dual.

    Heres a note About AGPe...

    AGPe slot(s), makes the board compatible with existing AGP graphics cards.
    AGPe isn't an official standard, and it's not quite AGP. Because the AGP specification is derived from good old PCI,
    Albatron was able to hang an AGP slot off of the PCI bus and make a functional AGP slot, although with somewhat diminished capacity.
    Without the higher clock speeds and additional signaling tricks of AGP, this "AGPe" slot has only 133MB/second of bandwidth—much less than AGP 8X's 2.1GB/second of bandwidth.
    Not only that, but a card in the AGPe slot must share bandwidth with other PCI devices in the system. AGPe should be responsive enough for basic 2D applications, but I wouldn't expect much from its gaming performance.

    Personaly...
    if you want my Oppinion.
    I would opt for pci Express over AGP.
    And if your going to be using an AGPe board any way...
    The on board Gfx would probably be faster than your Agp card due to the slower Clock speed of the AGPe slot.

    However.
    that 1st link does say it can do 8x Agp.(2.1GB/second )
    Which is better than the AGPe. (133MB/second)

    But i dont know enough about the XGP slots to be able to tell you if its as fast as the old AGP slots.
    (It imply's it is But dosent catagoricaly state it is)

    so you should now see,
    You cant get a TRUE AGP slot on a pci E board.
    Due to the new PCI foundations.
    But there are alternative options. And the better one would be XGP.

    But at the end of the day.
    I would personaly get the pci E board.
    And suffer for a while with bad GFX rather than buy a AGPe Pci E board, That may just end up being slower than the on board.
    XGP.... I dont know enough about So i would avoid untill i heard Good reviews.
