Australia just got its 3rd gold medal in the history of the Winter Olympics... some might argue that we stole the gold medal from the Canadians

The Canadian-born 21-year-old, already a multi-millionaire internet entrepreneur, took an impressive win to join Alisa Camplin, the defending women's aerial champion, and 2002 speed skating champion Steven Bradbury as Australia's only winter Games gold medallists.

Begg-Smith moved to Australia as a 15 year old with his older brother after deciding they could no longer participate in the Canadian moguls skiing program because it clashed with their business interests

Was sick and nothing else was on TV, it's boring like hell. I couldn't help laughing at the langlaufers, it looks like skiers being born like Bambi.

    no fun at all.

Did anyone see the womens snowboard race?

The American was way ahead, started showing off in a jump, came down badly because of her stunt, lost the lead and got silver to the Swiss's Gold...

Speaking of Switzerland, they've beaten the Canadians and the Czechs in hockey while being out-shot by a ridiculous margin. Looks like they'll go as far as their goalie can take them. Slovakia has beaten the US in hockey while having a national population lower than that of New York City. Things are getting interesting.
