    How can I change the factions color on the map..the color of the factions provinces ect.... thanks

    By changing the RGB values in the descr_sm_factions.txt file for the faction you wish to alter. Note this affects a number of things in the game. There is also a secondary colour attached to each faction - I think this changes the border colours of the map.
