    Default Trouble finding UI folders

I want to modify files in the folders UI_LOCATION and UI_FACTIONS, but I can't find them. Using xpak hasn't helped as the only UI folders there seem to be graphics. Any tips for a frustrated modder?

What files are you trying to edit, those folders don't exist.

I'm trying to alter some faction descriptions and custom battle location names - changing them in Data\text\menu_english didn't work for me.

Look in expanded_bi.txt(if you have the expansion pack), expanded.txt, shared.txt and other text files in the data\text folder.

OK, tried that - no joy. I was able to correct the spelling of "Pripet" by changing it in the file custom_locations.txt, but the Sarmatian Mound and Ancyra don't appear there so I'm a bit stumped. Other gamers have said they were able to change text\menu_english, so clearly I'm doing something wrong. What exactly should I do to change an army's description?
