    Question why so slow??? :(

    Hi folks... i really love EB Thx to all the members of this mod , u make life better ;) The only thing , and this one makes me sick , is the long time between loading screens ... Anyone has an idea why is that and a way tofix it ???

    Buy a faster computer.

    (Sorry, I just couldn't resist.)

    If it is any consolation, I suffer from it, too. I'd suggest having a copy of Warry's Warfare in the Classical World to look at while you are waiting. It actually gets me more fired up to play.

    If you alt-tab to minimize the screen and ctrl+alt+del you can bring up the proccesses menu and change Rome:Total War's priority to high. I think there is a way to automatically do this on startup but I don't know where that is, I just do it manually. It doesn't change anything drastically, for me at least, but it helps.

    EB's data files are far larger than R:TW's and all this information has to be loaded. However, several EB members have stated that the patched version they are testing right now will be a lot faster.
