can't seem to work around this one, its summer of 216bc playing as the romans and i get a ctd as soon as it becomes the ptolemies turn, any ideas?

Have you applied the Olympics Bug fix? Do a search, it should be here somewhere (or on the TWC, I don't remember...). This bug essentially just makes the game CTD as soon as any Hellenic general wins the Olympics.

If you've already applied this fix, then I don't know...

That seems to have worked thanks, would have done it earlier but assumed it only applied if the player was playing a hellenic faction
