    Default Problems with textures after export from 3dsmax

    Why does this:

    become this:

    after being exported?

    Am I doing something fundamentally wrong?

    Sorry about the large inline images but I thought a side by side comparison was necessary.

    Basically many of the vertex points on the UVW map are getting messed up.
    It's just a goddamn popularity contest with you kids, isn't it!

    6. When you have finished texturing each set of polys with their own uvs should be selectable in ‘element’ mode

    For some stupid reason I was rewelding all the vertices after texturing...
