Thread: Wierd screenies

    Default Wierd screenies

    This is really wierd...

The bows are floating in mid-air while those people are holding on to....air?

I have one other screenshot of the pandaitoi (how do you spell that) spearman, but I lost it though. Their spears are missing at all times, and the back of their shields.....you can actually see through a portion of it. Wierd.

Other wierd stuff I've encountered, but unable to be captured in screenshots, are:

    1) When cavalry units die while standing still, the corpse of the riders disappear instanteously, at the moment they're killed.

    2) The corpses of some infantry units, when they die, will teleport a distance away after the death animation is complete.

    3) Phalanx units, when standing still, some of the soldiers will bounce up and down....

I'll try to capture the screenshots and perhaps even short videos the next time I start up EB.

probably something wrong with your video-card/settings because I've never seen any of this except for the bouncing phalanx which is a known bug I think.

I've only seen problems with the phalanx. never had problems with horse archer animations or with the units who die. what video card do you have?

    Thanks for reporting.

This farmer is growing mirrors in his land!

In an all cavalry army, selecting the units in the army can actually make you travel further....

Good to know it doesn't CTD. We should have pictures in the patch.

I have no idea how that happens. Maybe it's a pond?

I think that's something from the original game; at least, I believe I've seen it in a general RTW bugs thread.

Ah! the Generals! they are numerous, but not good for much (especially if they're Languorous)!

Actually, it's a missing patch of land in the map. The light blue texture is that of the sky.

We're representing the fact that the Earth is actually hollow. The inner Earth (Agharta) accommodates a base of operations of an advanced alien race (Bartixians). You can see Agharta through the hole opened up for Bartixian spaceships, as the buggers tend to zoom in and out of it once in a while through the crust itself, instead of using the large polar holes.

In other words, it's a feature.
