We need help, but we need people who can actively take tasks upon their own shoulders. If we need to lead someone along the whole way, it just takes time away from our people who are working on other things. If something isn't easily found in the game (or by looking at some of the code in some cases), we can provide answers to specific questions as long as they aren't just as numerous as the amount of work done by the person in the first place. This would apply in pretty much any case.
There are a core group of people who are very active in EB, then some people who consistently feed a medium to small stream of content to us, and then a whole lot of virtually inactive members. When someone needs a lot of attention and it takes away from the time people like kull and qwerty and vandalcarthage and forgus and numerous others are putting into the mod, it can be too much to ask for. This explanation is meant to encourage though - people can quickly move up in the mod and become very important if they have skills and a reasonable amount of time to invest and if they are willing to work with others (i.e., can compromise, be cordial, etc.).
