    Default Public information films

UK posters will remember with affection the incredibly patronising public information films we used to have on the BBC, in which cartoon cats advised small children not to go off with strangers, a spooky voice over suggested that the way to survive a nuclear war was to climb inside a large brown paper bag, and careless workmen met horrible ends because they drank their own paint stripper. Or something.

Anyway, the BBC has been challenging people to come up with their own films "in the style of" and some of them are quite good. I certainly feel the public should be warned of the dangers of zombies, panto dames and kebabs:

I really, really like the sound of "Stop Look Zombies." I'll have to watch that when I get home and can crank up the speakers.

Therapy helps, but screaming obscenities is cheaper.
