    Default The weather.

The weather is outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

So, what's the weather like right now for all you .Organisms? For the last 2 and a half hours we've had constant snow here in Yorkshire, which has occasionally become a blizzard. It's about a foot deep. Looking outside now, it's going through a 5 minute spurt of being a blizzard, going nearly vertical. My other window, the big ceiling window is covered in snow and i can't see anything out of it.

    http://xs70.xs.to/pics/06095/173605.jpg

So, what's the weather like for you? Include detailed descriptions, and if possible, pictures from the nearest window, or alternatively, where you sitting as you type.

EDIT: Included a link for the picture, rather than show the actual picture, as it was apparently warping the size of the page.

There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

We had a very strange wintry mix in Michigan yesterday. It started the night before with a light freezing mist, which went to freezing rain, which went to snow, which then, for a few minutes, turned into tiny falling snowballs that were about a half-centimeter in diameter. It thawed out later in the day.

Soft Southener!? I'm only 7 miles from Huddersfield, probably twenty miles from you. Obviously there's a great difference in weather.

All that lousy weather from England is coming right at us in Denmark, today was a grey day with light snow.

    Its been great.

Loads of snow, though it does not stick much. We don't normally get much snow in Liverpool because we are next to the sea.

Right now it is a bit cool and there is still some snow around. It is too dark to take pictures as there are only two street lights near my window then a big dark field.

Yup. It's nice today though, 34 and sunny.

Well here it is very cold, but that is mainly due to the wind. I have no idea what the temp is, but earlier when I walked to the Vet's Home it was cold enough to make my face and ears feel like needles were slamming into them all across, so pretty cold, but not cold enough (without wind) to freeze snot so I'd guess not below zero (F).

    The light outside is blinding...

Hurrah! Happy happy sunshine! Because my webcam is designed to catch as much light as possible, it looks like a nuclear weapon has detonated outside. Plus, snow glare from that house you can see in my original picture doesn't help.

EDIT: Forgot there was another overly large picture.

I was singing that yesterday morning in school, when there was a nice heavy snow fall all morning. There are grey clouds just now but nought else, and the remnants of yesterday's snow still lie

A picture? Very well. I had to use longer exposure in order to make anything at all visible.

Clear night skies right now, but it snowed earlier today.

The Weather down here is like my Girlfriends mood, changing daily. 2 weeks ago it was a blamy 75-80 all week then droped to 19 and snow in a day. Last weekend it rained all the way through, and now it was near the 90's all week, in March . I believe someone better give god a PMS pill, becuase the constant changing is iritating.

Storm rolling in from the north, putting the ka-bosh on "sunny" southern California. We might get a little rain (<1 inch), the mountains (25 miles east) should get some snow.

Keep up those immigrant-discouraging weather reports. We don't need any more traffic.

We have similar weather in Germany. My girlfriend went to work this morning, leaving in a snow-chaos, drove only 20 min but where she arrived there wasn't any snow at all. At home the snowing stopped at noon and thawed in less than an hour. 3 hours later it started again, even hailed and now the ground is covered again.

Cold but not snowing. Whenever it snows it melts as well, never has a chance to settle. Getting warmer now, and raining instead.

After the snow and frost, a return to normalcy. The sky is completely one tone of grey and it's been drizzling all day.

Same here. When I first arrived, I thought it was kind of dumpy, but it certainly grows on you. That one was from Muswell Hill looking down into, mostly, Crouch End.

Raining. I actually like it a bit. It reminds me of home to have cold stuff hitting my face when I walk around outside. (ohhhh.)

Weather - not much change here. The colour of grey in the sky is a bit darker, and it's now raining on/off instead of constantly.
