    Exclamation Very Early Marius's Reform

I got Marius's Reform in 232 B. C. (after building the Palace in Crotona)! Is this normal, because Frogbeastegg's Guide says the Reform can not take place earlier than 220 B. C.? (I'm playing the Italian version of RTW, vanilla, but with the latest patches).

With latest patches, reforms anytime an imperial palace is built on mainland Italy or Sicily.

Happened to me in my current Julii campaign with Patavium.

Downside? Don't get much chance to train Triarii.

Thank you. I thought I was a freak of nature, a fast-builder, or that this was a chauvinist peculiarity of the Italian version .

I also had an extremely early Marius event. I think it was 235 or so, but it was before I got the 1.3 and 1.5 patches. I did have an Imperial Palace in Syracuse, but it was a few years after that. Is that normal or is there something wrong.
