Sacrifice was great. I got my dad addicted to it too. He was a bit put off when I mentioned "mana whores" I seem to remember.
1) Medieval: Total War
2) Rome: Total War (with EB, otherwise it's nothing special)
3) Dragonforce (Sega Saturn.. beautiful game).
4) Starcraft
5) Sacrifice
