Since the patch, I just tried the Casse for the first time (probably goes without saying that I love how they're so much more interesting than under vanilla). But I was wondering if (after reading about special cases like Sinope with the Greeks) that it might be possible to only be at war with one tribe at once - make others "special cases" or something? The problem the Casse may be facing is that to attack one tribe effectively puts them at war with every other tribe in the area as well. (Maybe that's historical, but from what little I know, I hear the tribes often fought each other without provoking the whole island). But if it's not possible, then it just requires another adapted strategy. Oh... are the Casse the "Catuvelauni"? There's a book "Eagle and the Raven" by Pauline Gedge, I really can't tell for sure how historical it is, but it sounds like the Casse might be that Catuvellauni from the book.

There has been much discussion about whether we should do this, but at this time, it's not in the game. You can check your faction leader's "Victory Conditions" trait and it will tell what Eleutheroi cities you are allied to.

The way our alliances with rebel cities work is that if somebody else attacks the city, it provokes war. You're encouraged to defend these people from the other faction's aggression. The limitations of the game are such that if you're at war with one rebel city, you're at war with all of them. So what you're suggesting is impossible.

Ah! the Generals! they are numerous, but not good for much (especially if they're Languorous)!
