    Hi all, my first post here, so thanks to all those that have provided some awesome info :-)

    I have a general question regarding the behaviour of troops when you are controlling them through scripting.

    Lets say you want them to be on fire-at-will mode and to move them to a certain location, after that how do you get the AI to take back control of them? I have tried release unit and have tried activate ai, but both seem to then undo the changes I made to formation etc.... So how do I make them keep a certain formation etc and then let AI control them after that, but with my changes?

    I hope this makes some sense and I would appreciate any help on this

    Very brave to venture out of the Lordz Forums, GS! But you could have just asked it there

    When control of an unit is given back to the AI it does not care what commands you had given it previously. It forgets them. There is a big chance that it will make the unit skirmish again, so for NTW2 it will be better to constantly keep the units under the control of scripts.
