Missed 3 and 4. Pretty tricky.
Missed 3 and 4. Pretty tricky.
got 'em all because i'm smarter than everyone else. was there ever any doubt?
now i'm here, and history is vindicated.
Muahaha!!! 5 out of 5. Nice questions!

I got the first four. I'm so smart. (Or my law teacher gave us the same questions in class, hehe.)
The first two questions are worded incorrectly. To "overtake" someone indicates that you are starting from the inferior position.
Overtake
- catch up with and possibly overtake; "The Rolls Royce caught us near the exit ramp"
- pass: travel past; "The sports car passed all the trucks"
Clearly you're having fun with math, but the English language is getting no joy at this party.

Hmmm not that difficult.
Wait, if you pass the second person, doesn't that just make you third to last? You've only passed two people. Such ambiguous wording.

If you overtake the last person, you may be lapping them, and could therefore be at any position in the race except last.
^^^^
That was how I interpreted the question...
