Yes, from wiki:

An intelligence quotient or IQ is a score derived from a set of standardized tests developed to measure a person's cognitive abilities ("intelligence") in relation to their age group. An IQ test does not measure intelligence the way a ruler measures height (absolutely), but rather the way a race measures speed (relatively).

It's debatable if an IQ test measures intelligence of course, since intelligence is such an abstract concept.

Think about it. People that play strategy games are likely to have a higher IQ anyway. Most people on this forum punctuate their posts properly, so that tells you something about intelligence too.

Edit: Different tests do give diff results, so don't use one result to base your iq on and tell people. actually do the test. One time I got 151, and the site could convert my score to another test site's score: 186 (haha).

indeed. Most people here are smarter then the average person. I mean look at the backroom for example, how many people really folow politics? Or all those history buffs out here. I mean I think it's quite logic to me that most are fairly smart. Or take all the foreigners out here their Enlgish (Me for example) is not always perfect but the "dumber' people don't even know enough English for this.
(I know people who after a few years of english still have difficulties with the meaning of to be and to have.) Tough this might little to extreme.

But anayway I think it's logical that the IQ here is above average. tough an average of 130, or more, seems a bit high.

anyway I had 129

. I'm 16 and not really good at English, doesn't that increases my "real" IQ? ( fingers crossed)
