An idea for the Chat

I was just wondering if it would be possible to put a little "Who's in the Chat" bar near the currently logged on members bar. I don't know how much this would help with the hit and miss nature of IRC with some members, but if it could be done it might encourage more people to enter it. I also think it would help show if the chat is working since at least I have periodic problems getting in, possibly due to dial-up.

Just an idea, if it's not possible feel free to smother it in it's crib with a pillow of reality.

By all means if it can be implemented, then do so! It would increase the popularity the chat, perhaps tenfold.

I think it'd be nice if we could do this, but also include who is in the chat. So what do you think?

If you use mIRC the 'Who's in' thing should be there anyway.

I still think it is an good idea. I do not think it would suddenly get everyone into chat, just maybe a few more people then us regular die-hards. Yesterday the chat had 11 peeps in, and it was tight.
