Are you referring to the manual that comes with the game or to player guides such as we have here at the Org?
There should be no reason to download the game documentation.

Just FYI, manuals are not usually included in an electronic format on our games. Apart from anything else, a paper manual makes it less convenient to use a pirated product - a pdf of the manual makes life easier for pirates.
Gentlemen should exercise caution and wear stout-sided boots when using the Fintry-Kyle Escape Apparatus. Ladies, children, servants and those of a nervous disposition should be strongly encouraged to seek other means of hurried egress.

My STW: WE comes with an electronic manual and no paper manual...
Mind, that is the budget version - gave my original away to a work mate who was a big AOE fan, thought I'd show him what a real strategy game was like. He went out and bought MTW and RTW that weekMaybe I should claim a commission from CA.....

if one lose the manual that comes with the game it would be good to have it in the disc too. in my stw game there was one on the disc, which was good cause i never got any paper one to the game.Originally Posted by Captain Fishpants

I never really looked at the manual. A brief look at the prologue and simply playing was more than adequate. It is all fairly intuitive.
