    oh yes... you are right :) i wanted, and i did ;)
    i like it very much, even its surely not complete at all .... lots of missing stuff etc, but thats why its a beta i think :)

    but there was one thing i notices immediately in my first battle. i suppose it was already noticed by others due to the fact that the patch is rather old meanwhile, but if not, then its my duty to do it:

    in battles, after you got all enemy units to rout, the battle does not end as it should. means, even if all remaining units had left the battlefield there is no messages which ends the battle. i made 4 battles until now... 2 were normal, but in the other two i had this problem.
    the messages comes, but much too late. once i had to wait for 5 minutes with battlespeed on maximux till i could leave the battle.

    just wanted to tell you

    That's very weird. I don't think anybody experienced this before.

    I had the same problem on some battles. I had routed all enemy's on the battlefield, but no message came. Then i realieed that some enemy units had get stuck in the forest. On the battlemap was a deep forest with these unnatural giant trees. The trees were so near to each other that some enemy units can't get through them (i found them with radar on max zoom).

    i'm almost sure that you run into the same problem

    yes, absolutely right. i forgot to say that ;) there was a big forest and i assumed that there could be some units stuck, but i couldn´ find them .... but if you had the same problem, it must be the reason.
    damn, i hate those trees ......

    pls EB-team, make them smaller !!!!

    We've discussed it, but it might not get fixed immediately. The next build is focused on three things really: getting a build on 1.5, getting the new units in, getting the unit recruitment system restarted (after the F5 storm that was 1.5 wreaked its havoc on our entire system - from governments to MIC's to reforms - we have been a bunch of very unhappy campers... that is until we've seen just how many new units will be in it ).

    So there will still be problems - and things we want to fix, and gaps, but we're really trying to get UI cards all done and up to speed since that was a big complaint for the beta release. Trees are still up for discussion, but we are thinking about them.

    Could some other modder loan some tree models? Didn't Duke John offer than in his tree thread in the scriptorium?

    And I've had the battle delay thing as well, but it was in an open, grassy field. The enemy units was almost entirely decimated, except for five soldiers. They each went in one of two directions, but with 100 meters or more between them. It took me forever to spot them and hunt them down. I don't see how that could be an EB thing though; more likely, its just that I've played a lot more RTW post-EB than before, so now is the first time I've noticed it.

    glad to hear you´re thinking about it Archelaou :) its not really difficult to implement.

    for all the other who didn´t want to wait, here is a link with a tree-mod from a modder of the rtr-forum.
    it should work with EB too without any problems, i just hadn´t had the time to test it yet, but i will do so later.
    just make a backup copy of those changed files, and if there are problems, replace them again with the originals ;)

    Hi all!
    I just decided that I'll start playing Rome total war again. So I looked through the mods, and found this one. It sounds really interesting, and I decided to download it.
    The only problem is, none of those links for 0.7.4 patch work, and I can't find any from the google neither. Does anyone here know where I could get it?
