I started my current campaign before the new patch and the mines were still at full blast, so my current situation was based on that. I'm wondering how I can revert the mining income to the previous numbers for now.

Ahh, ye olde mines were great15,000 mnai income from a single settlement (Pella
) was a bit excessive, though...
To answer your question, it should be in export_descr_buildings.txt. Just do a search for "mines." Here's the 0.73 entry:
Hope that helps.Code:building hinterland_mines { levels mines mines+1 { mines requires factions { barbarian, armenia, romans_brutii, egypt, romans_scipii, carthage, parthia, numidia, thrace, greek_cities, macedon, romans_julii, seleucid, } and resource silver or resource gold { capability { mine_resource 60 } construction 4 cost 10000 settlement_min town upgrades { mines+1 } } mines+1 requires factions { romans_brutii, egypt, romans_scipii, carthage, parthia, numidia, thrace, greek_cities, macedon, romans_julii, seleucid, } and resource silver or resource gold { capability { mine_resource 200 } construction 10 cost 20000 settlement_min large_town upgrades { } } } plugins { } }
There are quite a few differences in 0.74 but in either case I'm not seeing the mining income number. And am I correct in seeing that the construction time for mines has been increased from 4 turns to 10? And price for building it increased as well? My goodness. That together with cutting down the income from 3000 to 1000 for most mines really takes the edge away from them. I'm losing a lot of money now after the patch when I was making so much before while fielding 3 armies, heh. I suppose it's for the better though...
-edit-
Actually, is the mining income indicator mine_resource? It's 20 now, 1/3 of 60 before, so that's how the overall income in calculated?

I think it's the mine_resource 60 and mine_resource 200 lines. I could be wrong, though.
I say just leave it as it is in 0.74 though. Justify the lack of income with inflation or the mines running low on their resources![]()
Heh, interesting idea. I'd have to cut down on my armies though... and the war machine has been set in full motion... I'll just save the real thing for my next campaign when it's ported over to 1.5 : ) Can't freakin' wait.
Yeah the mine _resource line is what you have to adjust. In the next patch I think they will be 15 and 50.
