Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
Palissa,
quite good models. My favorite is the foot archer's cloths.
If the shield + bow not possible Koplyások should have lance + bow. This combination is actually the most authentic regarding to emperor Constantine and Turk research.
Add reflex bows! Longer lances would be better. More leather armour see the tw link. Kopjanek => Koplyások.
Christian units should have swords rather sabres. Magyars werent mongolids your skins are good.
Remove that knifes from hands.
I see the lot of links missed somewhere between the topics.

I dont know how many unit type you want. In my opinion Várjobbányok and the Besenyők (=Pechenegs) are not important.
Székelyek are better with bow and sabre.
@csatadi
They nearly all wear leather armor, maybe can put other kind of leather, dunno.
Just a pair dont wear it, seems to me.
The knife in the archer hand, mean that is the weapon they use in melee, the secondary weapon. Is the standard RTW for archer, else they cant fight in melee, i think, or well, something weird happens.
german knight have a sword as secondary, for close combat.
I think szekely need rework, maybe i add a leather armor, and less colors.
Bye
Looks very good!
Small details: try to draw a better sabre.
See this:
The scabbard should be on the left side.
The quiver and the bow-holder still missing.
Beards wasnt in the mode only moustache.
The headgear is a little hat-like to me. The brim of the headgear is too wide. Try to make it smaller or rather change it to fur.
This is the typical Magyar headgear:
Boots:
What about the saddle? Is it possible to skin it?
Maybe the length of lances will be ok.
Good work!
Man, only thing i can do is to raise high of hat, curve a little bit the sabre, and put the scabbard on other side.
The brim of hat is already fur (or what can come from a low poly model), and those boots are really unlikely to come as shown, in this resolution :)
Will see what come out :)
Is possible skin saddle, yes, on the horse.
Maybe even model horse some so come out a better saddle. Problem is, that horse are a bit screwed, as i read around, and sometime export the .cas give error, even if horse after will work.
I never modeled a horse, must ask around :)
I saw some pic of other mods with saddle modelled, so is possible, i think.
The cover on the horse is surely moddable, just post a good pic of how yo uwant it. I used standard vanilla stuff.
Here small modifications

Palissa relax.
If you dont want to change dont do it. Actually I dont care so much.
The boots are cool now! I dont see the sabre well. The right sabre is important just think on the Khazars, Pechenegs, Uzes and probably the Bulgars, they all will use sabres in battle.
The height of the headgear was ok. The brim looks like a leather thing. But the main thing it is too wide and angular. Its material is a secondary thing and not so important (hard to observe) but the shape of the headgear is simply strange.
Look at this page for more pictures, especially headgears: http://www.lovasijasz.sk
EDIT: OMG see my avatars headgear. it isnt peaked but its brim is the same I ask for.
These are good ones for saddles if you want some:
All the units should have spear or sabre in melee depending on the unit desc. Maybe a nomad (or magyar?) axe, the fokos, a kind of spontoon. The foot archer should have a spear it was cheaper.
If you want a little, very advanced idea, draw stirrups to the horsemen. I think it would be very unique between RTW units.
