    Thumbs up Official F1 thread

    www.formula1.com

F1 is one of my favourite sports. I have renewed my interest in F1 along with the start of 2006.
I like McLaren. Mike Hakkinen was my favourite driver, but he retired.
    Now it's Raikkonen.

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

Actually, I'm a great fan and have been since the mid-sixties. I'm a Ferrari fan and worship the ground Michael Schumacher walks upon.

This season looks as if it will be a good one, though the Renault dominance at Malaysia is ominous.

It can't be much fun being a Mclaren fan at present, with all the high hopes being dashed. I think you made a mistake taking on Montoya, who is over-rated IMO. However, Raikkonen is the real deal (as he is coming to us soon, I would say that!) but maybe he's too unlucky to be champion.

Hakkinnen was a great - the only driver to really match up to Schumacher consistently. And Finland seem to have given us another potential great in Nico Rosberg - he's impressive so far.
"If there is a sin against life, it consists not so much in despairing as in hoping for another life and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this one."
