Heh, looks like CNN is trying to retain some dignity by saying 'They're not splitting cuz our ratings have bombed', whilst Gallup's CEO is saying 'CNN's ratings have bombed, we're getting out.'

Gallup should have been indy all along, I guess marrying USA Today is better than marrying CNN though, I still consider USA to be a somewhat nuetral paper if ther is such a thing. I wonder how much of it has to do with "spinning" gallup results. Its not uncommon for USA and CNN to have completely different explanations for a gallup poll result, something that should surprise none of us here
