According to the CBC, the Pentagon said Canadian Special Forces (that would our JTF-2 boys), also took part.

But I'm still saying thanks to our buddies.

Thank goodness. I think this is the first successful rescue in Iraq. Insurgents will think twice before they attempt to kidnap someone.

I think I would rather die fighting the insurgents than be held captive.

Even if the chance is there to get rescued, I don't know. I'd try to bring down any bastard that put his hand on me the wrong way though, so...
