I must be missing something: if your PM box is reduced, all you'd need to do is remove a few PMs and you should be able to send and receive PMs again. If you want, you can download and save the PMs in your box in various formats.

Ive had to delete LITERALY Hundreds of pm's due to demotion.
And it's agrivating.

I will begin saving them as text files when I send and recive them.

But of course LEGALY you haft to inform people if your taking carbon copys and saving them els where for future referance.

Hmm, weird. I currently have 60 PMs, and all of them were saved (I wrote a wee script to check...). Might have something to do with you having too many for your box, I suppose, or your current usergroup.

Demotion happens automatically when you hit a certain number of warning points... even if you are a senior member you will get demoted to that of junior.

Sorry, I'm not aware of any such clausule in the forumrules. It does point out what is expected from posters though and, especially long time, users know what happens when that is ignored again and again.

It would have been possible to post here, stating that you had need to be saved messages in the PM box. And that you had problems with doing it yourself. Assistance could have been provided.
