INVASIO BARBARORUM : FLAGELLUM DEI v5.03

    DOWNLOAD:http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=42802

-Sassanid Zhayedan charge a line of East Roman Empire auxilia palatinae, in the background are Gothic foederati spearmen-

-originally developed by Atilla Reloaded, currently being continued by a small team of dedicated individuals (not a whole army of modders)

    FORUM:http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=40676

the game focuses on balancing historical accuracy with gameplay. It includes a complete reskin of all factions including more historical units for Romans, Picts, Saxons, Franks, Sassanids. It also includes a new map and new buildings. All BI factions are playable except WRR, ERR, slaves, and the Berbers, Alemanni, and Saxons can horde. Campaign starts at 407AD

BTW: Oaty's list is woefully out of dateany moderator care to update it?

    ER,

I do not know what the final database will look like but should there be a limit for the size of the "description"? Also, can as-of-yet unfinished mods be listed as long as they have a demo out? (that might be a good rule of thumb to stop mods never likely to be finished from being listed).

I'd also suggest a categorisation: major (new campaign map), minor (no new or only slightly edited campaign map); historical - roman-era, historical - other, fantasy

I'm happy to update it, but I don't have the time to pull the information together (which is rather the central point of this thread ). I'm happy to edit in anything people prepare for me.

Yeah, descriptions should just be summaries, not full readmes. To give you an idea, here's one I've written for the BI All Factions mod to give you an idea. It's a good size, I wouldn't want to go much beyond it.

"This mod allows you to play as all of the factions within BI. This includes emergent factions where, instead of changing the game so that they start with a territory, the game switches to auto-pilot until the faction emerges when you take over - so you can control the faction just as it appears in the vanilla game.

If you want to play as an emergent faction then you must start the game as the slave faction and click on specific cities to bring up the correct advisor. Full details in the readme."

There has to be something to download to be listed, so if a mod doesn't even have a demo out it's not going to be there. Otherwise, each entry should be to the latest version of each particular mod - so for example All Factions v1.2 would replace v1.1, though v2 would get a separate listing because it's for BI1.6 whereas the earlier one was for BI1.4

    Name:

    Link to download page:
    https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=55464
    (same as discussion thread)

Direct hotlinking the file would be counterproductive, since I make lots of quick updates, which would mean that download link in this page would be outdated too quickly.

    Description:
This is compilation of fixes to various bugs that can be found in Rome: Total War and its expansion pack Barbarian Invasion. Many of the fixes were not originally my ideas, but ideas of other members from gaming community that I compiled in one unofficial patch. Since unofficial, it is in no way associated with Creative Assembly, Activision or SEGA.

It's not been publicly released yet.

I don't like direct hotlinks anyway - all the other links just go through to a Downlead thread which I think is for the best.

It is best to go through the mod download thread/mod forum so that people get more info on the mod before downloading.

Great idea ER, are you going to do one for EB or do you want one of your team mates to do it?
