I have to admit, even though I've had some time to try and digest it, it's still very difficult to imagine the .Org without Tosa as Admin. I feel it's a testament to how good he is in the role that most of the absolutely brilliant and critical things he's done have gone largely unnoticed.

Congratulations to Kukri and Ser as well, I am sure you will do an excellent job.

Unless it's just an April's Fool thingy, thank you for all your efforts, TosaInu, and hope you'll still stick around. Hope your RL stuff that drags you away from the Org is good stuff, not bad stuff.

Congratulations to both KukriKhan and Ser Clegane - glad to have you top brass ! :)

Wow. I've had a few days to digest this news and it hasn't helped one little bit. In the back of your mind you know a day like this will eventually come, but it doesn't lessen the shock when it happens. The Org without Tosa seems impossible, but here it is. Tosa was always there for the staff when we needed him and when we didn't, he'd leave well enough alone. If you were quiet for too long, you could count on a "Hello. How are you doing?" PM to let you know he's thinking about you. It is the little things like that that made the Tosa era so special. Several times when I was a moderator, Tosa's "dutch logic" (as he calls it) helped me think through a difficult situation. His support was invaluable. Of course, there were those times Tosa earned his "pay" - the thanks and respect of the membership. He oversaw a couple of board moves, a few database corruptions, some ugly member crises and countless board enhancements. I can't even begin to imagine of how much time he invested in these boards - especially those unplanned events which I'm sure inconvenienced his personal life tremendously. His dedication to the Org of the past few years has been unsurpassed.

I'll add my voice to the choir shouting "Senior Member". Tosa has always shrugged off any accolades anyone tried to bestow upon him. Maybe now that he isn't running the show he will get (wanted or not ) some of the recognition he so richly deserves. Thank you Tosa for all you've done - for the Org and also for me personally.

As for those who must attempt to fill Tosa's shoes, I can't think of anyone better than Kukri and Ser. Congratulations gentlemen. Best wishes to you both. I know you two will continue to maintain the Org's fine reputation.

You have done a perfect job, Tosa. Always keeping your cool, politeness and a low profile while doing great things.

And cheers to KukriKhan and Ser Clegane for spending more of their freetime to keep the Org a happy place.

.. It is a black day when the mighty falls (Or retires).. I really must admit that I was first stunned when I visited this site. It's so organised that it gets the people who visit it to wonder, if those who really administrate it are really humans. I haven't been around for a long time, so I can only say with my chin up: "I'm proud to have witnessed your days". Farewell Tosa, whole communities are found and fortified with efforts of people like you, as rare as those people are, as lucky we feel to have you been in the Total War community. Good luck with your life, and may you have the happyness you wish for.

Congratulations Kukrikhan and Ser Clegane. You have a very high line to try to jumb over.. I salute you at the start of your journey, the journey of a million miles, that starts with one step.
"Cry, the beloved country, for the unborn child that is the inheritor of our fear. Let him not love the earth too deeply. Let him not laugh too gladly when the water runs through his fingers, nor stand too silent when the setting sun makes red the veld with fire. Let him not be moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give too much of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he gives too much."

As a new mod, one of my very first actions was a serious, brain-dead level mistake that even a day-old newb couldn't possibly have committed. Yet Tosa quietly and quickly stepped in to fix things and return everything to normal. Not a cross word, not an eye-roll, just a quiet concern to help get things back on an even keel. TosaInu? You, sir, shall be sorely missed.

    My very best regards, Kull/Paul

Wow. For me, personally, it has been impossible to think of the .org without thinking of TosaInu. He has been the epitome of the perfect moderator for longer than I can remember. There is nothing that I can say, other than, with sincerity:

    Thank you.

Congratulations to Kukri and Ser Clegane! You have quite the pair of shoes to fill.

    Holy! What did I miss?

What, the Imperial Majesty of the Netherlands is getting his life back?

So now Kukri and Ser are the Consuls now?

    ...

Congrats to TosaInu for getting his life back, and may the reign of the new regime be filled with revolutions, bloodshed, massacres, civil wars, conquests, loot, prosperity, and...err...peace!

...it's quite hard to not consider Tosa as this site's silent, firm, and hard-working leader of the .org, yeah...

...so why not make him Honorary Member (marked with title: ex-regime)!
