I’m sorry Shambles.

I don’t know anything about any of the trouble you have had at the Org.

And as I have told you, I personally, and sincerely appreciate your trying to keep Shogun alive.

But a successful Competition requires that plans be made well in advance of actual combat. And once the plans are made, the server has to be there or people fall away.

I don’t consider it your fault that the server was not up, or that you couldn’t get word to us. It’s not like we were paying for the privilege of playing on it or anything. And I really don’t think anyone else could do a better job. There is more to it.

Beyond any reliability problems, there are the connection problems that have ruled some folks out from the beginning. Add to that the general lack of availability of a community to practice with, and we have a slowly but surely dieing situation.

Moving the Shogun Contest to the VI was a giant step to try to save what we had going already, which may or may not be possible.

I hope you understand, I’m trying to keep a Contest going, which is in no way a rejection of you Shambles-sama. For with out you we never would have tried it in the first place
