    Default Troop Movement

In regards to Troop Movement there used to be a help menu in RTW why they ever got rid of it in BI I dont know I used to hit Escape and get a really nice detailed help menu.

But in regards to movement of troops

If I take my time and set up a nice formation but then I need to have it move to another spot and i want to hold its formations. I was reading through alot of posts here (Love to google forums tool) I can use the CTRL-A and then G to lock all of the units as a Group. and then move them with ALT R?

If I want to move the whole formation I use ALT R and they will move to their location and fight as they reach their encounter?

I do think some additional movement tools for this game would be better.

I don't recall said menu. Are you perhaps refering the F1 key-list?

Yes, although it often better to order your troops to charge instead of having them walk into the enemy. The exception is when you are a) using phalanxes or b) facing them.
