I can't really see that it's mocking Christianity. It's relatively accurate from a historical perspective, the Romans were fond of crucifying miscreants.Originally Posted by Navaros

Slightly OT, but why on earth the cross as a symbol of the Church? Wouldn't that be the last thing the Messiah would want to see when he returns to earth?

On topic again, I have to get this frickin' game, just so that I can get temporarily banned, just so that I can sit on the cross, as long as I can log on and talk. That would be really fun, in a perverse sort of way; just to spend several days, singing along to random songs (like "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"), and shouting insulting limericks at those who mocked me.![]()
And I would get it to so I could influence the devs to make small rotten veggie stands so you can pelt the crucified people with them. And guess who I would seek out? Yes, a certain someone singing songs from 'Life of Brian'.Originally Posted by Zorba

What's wrong with wanting to be crucified (digitally) for a few days? Hey, it's a great way to hang out with your friends.Originally Posted by Kraxis

I think it was something to do with how Christ turned that symbol of death and pain into one of hope and redemption.Originally Posted by Geoffrey S
