You would be surprised. Several of us that post here at the Org are veterns of their respective country's military.I've gone off and joined the army. Only advice I have is always listen and pay attention to the Drill Sergeant, and most important listen to the Jump Master on the airplane.

We'll keep your place here at the Org warm - after training, you may actually have a minute or three to stop by again, and we'll be glad to hear from you.

Fix your attitude and you'll do fine. This "nobody cares" attitude will land you in a world of hurt. Just remember that graduating airborne school is quite an accomplishment and that many people (who never got the chance to even go), consider it a very special thing.
Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.
