Interchangeable. But "Long Snap" is an older term - one I heard and used as a kid in the 50's & 60's. I think I heard "deep snap" on Monday Night Football, within the last 6-7 years. Probably a Texan-ism... those guys take their High School football very seriously. More so than the NFL even.
On a side note: It's actually a pretty tough physical skill to master, in effect 'throwing' the ball between your legs, while looking upside-down at a target more than 5 yards behind you. AND of course, with the knowledge of several 300-pound guys only seconds away from smashing you into the ground.
