Ah, congradulations to the both of you!

Curious, how does one go about becoming a mod or assistant mod or whatnot? Not personally interested in becoming one anytime soon, just interested on how they were appointed it now.

Mods and AMs are appointed by admin when they recognise a need for additional people in a particular area. The means by which they become appointed varies from case to case. In this particular instance, I made an announcement that there was an assistant moderator position vacant (also included here and on the front page) and asking for those interested to get in touch.

I know in other instances, where there is a vacancy potential candidates who have been demonstrating the right qualities and taken an interest in the development of the Org have been privately approached.

Congrats lads! I'm sure you'll both do a good job, should you survive the initiation process.

Thanks for the Warm Welcome fellas, hope to do my best!
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...
