Help Please!

Somethings wrong with my game! Serpentine crews appear in battle without a serpentine! The cannon is just not there, I don't understand it. All the other artillery types work fine, but the serpentine is just not there!!!

does it shoot ? Because then maybe something wuold be wrong with your image files. Or are they reinforcements?

What mods, upgrades, etc. are you running? Re-install just the files associated with the serpentines would be one of my first moves. Have you a custom battle with both sides of serpentine crews to see if the AI has the same problem?

The serpentine cannon model does not load for either AI or me, only the peasant crew is there. There is no cannon so of course it cant shoot, and they are not reinforcements. I'm guessing files or something in projectilestats or unitprod is wrong! But I don't know what

Perhaps the devine is punishing you for your merciless conquests and slaughter of innocents in his name?

Since its for both you and the AI I suggest a fresh instal of the game, proceeded by a defrag of your system. However I am curious if your units were home made, or mercs?

If I am not mistaken, a serpentine crew cannot operate with reduced crews, you may have hired a undermanned crew that couldnt fire anyway and as a result the image of the gun dosent appear.

A stretch? yep, but it came to mind and is easier then a reinstall.... Good luck

Odin - No this is a full man crew freshly bought from Denmark

Vlad - Yes my graphics card is up-to-date, my computers less than a year old

Dayve - No you can not fight sea battles, they are decided by the AI like automatically resolve for normal battles
