In your current game I posted it in here as I can't post it anywhere else. I am playing the house of julii.

What I don't understand is that I have all that land and the scipii have 6 full stacked armies in the top of africa and they are not using them?

Welcome to the forums Bombasticus Maximus! That look like quite the empire you have there. Sometimes the AI isn't very smart, so that's probably why the Scipii haven't done anything yet.

Let me try and post my RTR campaign as Macedon. I've taken all of Greece and am in Asia minor fighting the Ptolemac and Seleucid and Gaulic empires.

I think I helped by not expanding further north than Thessalonica. Macedon had only one settlement remaining, so they were ripe for the taking. Seemed to give the Thracians the added 'umph' to push on and conquer Dacia.

    Playing VH/H

The Britons were expanding pretty fast early on, but they lost their way and got surrounded by the Julii and Gaul.

Ive just taken Rome, and Croton - so half of Italy and all of Sicily is under my control. Taking the other half from the Julii will be more challenging. I also intend to begin expand along the North African coast.

I usually play on M/M as I suck at getting money levels up but I can beat enemies on hard I just choose to build my skills up first.

    Numidia, 242 BC, VH/M.

The hardest campaign I`ve ever had; so far I`ve only conquered one settlement, with the possibility that I might loose one of them.

Ok so I played a little more.

the rise for power is here I could take rome but I'm not going too. Egypt are becoming a threat so I have sent an army down there to take some land. In ireland I am having some trouble because of these guys:

I was looking how egypt was doing and see the near surrounded parthian settlement around 10 generals and one full stacked army I was like WOW .
I am also getting alot of generals from one turn I got three which all were from the family so had silver armour and weapons. It's starting to get intresting.

i would forget ireland, I've never seen the need to take it. In fact, I would destroy all the buildings in all of britain and pull out. Leave it to the rebels. In my Julii campaign it was near impossible to hold onto without full stacks of town watch/peasants. Even they need to get payed

Archer auxilla will probably do as well. Experience does not protect against arrows.
