Polybian are 209bc, Marian are 108bc, and Imperial reforms aren't in right now.

While we are on the topic of reforms, are there any plans of puting in those imp. reforms with the next biuld?

As for the gastate, I imagine the durgs hade some thing to do with it.

I would say that this isn't really important. Unless the reforms are definitely going to be triggered by events rather than specific dates, the distance in time from the start of 272 BC probably makes them irrelevant. If the EB team does decide to stick with dates rather than triggers, it would probably occur around 27 BC when Augustus had taken control of Rome - and who has actually played for that many turns?

In my mind, there are other things to script for a Beta release.

Yes. It also uparmoures Equites and replaces Rorarii/Leves/Ascencii with Velites.

Gaestatae used a large dose of painkiller just before battle allowing them ignore wounds that would normallly incapacitate a man. They also were veterans so even without this "magic potion" they were already quite formidable. As for the music, it is being worked on.

Thanks but what I meant by the gaestatae is that the fact they are naked..disturbing but it adds realism. Also how do you display sig pics, isn't the same as total war center forums.

Indeed interesting how we find nature 'disturbing'.

Or is it the digital representation of nature? Ah, but the trees aren't 'disturbing'. There goes that argument.

Well, there's this one argument in this piece of webcomicry:

Oh, and don't even dream of reading a few next comics and catching up on the plot while doing so.

It's because we don't teach people to think about trees that way, wonderland.

Trees don't have any strikingly obvious sexual organs as well... while we do and we've worn clothes since the ice age.

Though surely not because people were shy...it was an ice age afterall.

Funny how that argument disapears in other cultures, in other parts of the world though...funny how in the modern, 21st century we get offended by these kinds of things. But I'll shut up now. The rest of the EB must hate me by now for disrupting a couple of threads with the nudity question.
