hi
i enjoy reprogramming games and so i decided to add a new assassin unit.
i found out that in MTW VI
campmap\pieces\Agents
there are the pieces for Robin Hood and Joan of Arc
Can you use them in the normal game ?

IIRC both are already in the game as historical generals. The French get Joan of Arc as a general if they recruit a unit when she's sixteen, and Robin of Locksly may lead a rebellion in Mercia.

you must train a fedual sergeant...dont you. all the time i got here she was a fedeul sergeant. just as lord the lion. william marshal usually is a chivalric men at arm.

I think they just appear anyway, regardless of the unit. I have had william marshall as a feudal seg, a FMAA and a few others. Same for any other heros
hmmm oke. to bad the only reall historic persons in RTW are ancillaries

Indeed. Certain unit types are preferred, but I've had historical generals appear leading a unit of peasants as well.Originally Posted by The Blind King of Bohemia

In the campmaps folder:
Medieval - Total War\campmap\names
there is a file default_heroes.txt
it has Robin hood under rebels names.
"Robin", "of Locksley", 1191, 3, 1, 3, 2, 6, merciful1, GENERAL, ID_MERCIA, 4 //Robin Hood!
it is defined as a General instead of an agent (e.g EMISSARY)
in the "Medieval - Total War\campmap\pieces\Agents"
Robin hood is actually an agent/piece. the images for picking up and moving him are in this folder
Never mind. i used him to create a new assassin unit
why does the assassin differ from normal assassins? is it a strat map assassin or a battlefield one?
We do not sow.
