I'm all for combat flightsims but there's something very enjoyable about just flying for the sake of flying. If the aircraft model is good enough and the eye candy is nice, just balancing the instruments and conducting proper landings can be very satisfying. (As soon as I can find my screenshots, I'll post you some serious flightsim eye candy.)
