There is another thread detailing this and the word is that they will have stone walls.

why its not implemented??they will have some diferent type of walls?

We tried to get a more realistic type of barbarian wall (let's face it, the stone walls that are in the game now are not like stone walls in these "barbarian" factions in our time frame), but we've been having trouble keeping anyone working on it. We might just give in and give regular old vanilla stone walls to some of these factions in the end, but that's not really what we'd like to do.

maybe a barbarian wall like that used in Barbarian Invasions???

I've never played BI - some EB folks may have, but most haven't I don't think. Is it different than vanilla? What does it look like?

I dont play BI since i meet EB but it seens like the stones combines more with barbarians and seens not so simetric as mediterranean walls.

Those walls look exactly the same to me.

I see. It's a different skin or texture. But the walls are the same. We had been trying to totally redo walls, and have had some models and skins worked on, but hadn't been able to implement them when the fellow working on them wandered off.

Actually, he didn't. He ended up pretty much finishing his models (we just needed to make some final touches)... we just did't have anyone to implement them. DukeJohn gave us hope for the whole half day he was part of EB, but there-after we've had no luck.

So guys, if there is anyone with RTW building modding experience, give us a hand.

The Murus Gallicus, yes. Some examples have survived to present day.

We are hoping to have them in the next build but it's looking unlikely at this point in time unless we can get someone to work on them soonish.

    Lightbulb Re: Barbarian Walls

Will you be able to position units on those walls? The severed heads are a nice, grisely touch, but I do wonder about the banner. Were those silly faces CA put on Barbarian standards really historical?
