Well, it kind of lead to America being paranoid.

The US and USSR became superpowers. Mongolia was definitely affected: it's became a weak country right underneath a superpower! India was affected.. Indians fought on both sides. How could they not be affected? Seeing how part of America's demands for entering the war was Indian independence, the Indians lost a lot of men and gained a country (which later split into three: India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).
