    No luck, again.

I have 6 (six) princes and two of them are married to Castilian princess. This time I used my inquisitors elsewhere, because the Pope did the favor of killing the Castilian king who was without an heir. At this moment all of the Holy Land was Castilian so I expected to get some land from there. Nooo way.

All went rebel and next turn at least 3 factions reappeared.

    What am I doing wrong???

This thread got me interested in testing out the inheritance thing.

I am playing a campaign as the Spanish, and recently just noticed that the Byzantine emperor was old and didn't have any heirs. So I switched to his faction using the -ian switch, and offered all his princesses to different factions.

I offered one to the Russians, one to the Turks and one to the French.
The next turn the emperor died and the Turkish inherited two provinces they had owned before: Armenia and Mesopotamia. (Picture below)

Then this really messed up thing happened:
The Turks got an Orthodox priest!!! (Picture below)
How the hell did this happen? Does this also mean you could inherit all the agents in the provinces that you get from a dying faction? I'd love to know if he's converting the population to Islam or Orthodox Christianity.

When I right-click on the priest, the game stops and I get the error message: "No portrait available for this character" or something. But luckily the game doesn't crash, as I can get rid of the error message with the Esc key, and then it shows his scroll without the portrait. I think I better assassinate him quickly before he goes interacting with other pieces on the strategic map and crashes the game.

I think I might try to test to see if the Turks would inherit other agents if I placed them in the provine. I must try that - I might still have a save from a few turns ago. Lol lol lol!!!

That's definitely odd; I've never seen that before.

I'd try that out myself, but my game stopped working a few days ago.
