Pop punk... I'm not really that fond of you, but you can churn out some good stuff... Old punk doesn't really like you but you couldn't care less...besides it's all about having fun isn't it?
Bad test. It makes no effort to list any good psychedelic bands; the only "psychedelic" on the whole damn list was Hendrix- where are the Doors? Jefferson Airplane? Iron Butterfly? Steppenwolf? The Byrds? Pink Floyd? Queen Janis? Hell, they don't even have the Grateful Dead!
Plus, I have tried four times now, and despite every variation and attempt to get "psychedelic rock" as an answer, I keep getting classic rock. And I know damn well I am not a classic rock fan. I hate Zeppelin.![]()

Meh.
Obviously, it wasn't very 'scientific'. Above all else, I dig the melodies. Double guitars w/ the bass and vocals, all that. So, SOAD, Blindside, Dream Theater, the like. As Zorba wonderfully eludes to though, some sounds are better for some altered states of mind. I don't know how many people have large doses, watch scary movies or really intense, violent-ish music, and then have a pleasant experience.![]()
