Default Personal taste with naval models and how do I?.

    Hey all !

Recently DL'd SPQR6.2 and the mod has some awesome looking naval models. I was wondering if someone could assist me with how to use those models in other mods I have for my own game play? Or if it's even feasible.??

Would greatly appreciate any help and thanks!

    Naturally, it is possible.

As to how...I suggest you mail/PM the creators and ask:

    1) Do they mind if you do.
    2) How to go about it.

The naval models are just graphics, and don't affect the game other than visually, so it's not a major change.

    Yeah thanks Bwian.

Because I'm not distributing an altered version of the mod or anything and just doing it for myself I was just hoping that someone could tell me what files I have to swap and where.

And if it's posted here others who want to do it too can find out how.

Its really easy. take a look at the descr_model_strat.txt scroll down to the bottom and take a look at the entries for naval units. There will be an entry for the model and the texture. Not the location of both. Now go grab them and put them in the same location in your other mod and then make the appropriate changed to its descr_model_strat.
