i agree - i hate these sorts of protests. they're impotent and all they do is affirm that those in power are safe to remain in power because that's as much resistence from citizens as they're going to get. these silly little american demonstrations wrap up by mid afternoon and then everybody goes back to shopping and forgets all about it.
now france knows how to have protests.
