Okay, let start from that army list for Normandy, WCF and bla bla.

This is the colony spearman, model and skins by sciontheworm, retouched by me where they was defective.

If I understand well, this colony must be base for 4 factions, maybe with color retouched, or changed, or with some distintive gear or emblems.
    Let me know.

the problem is: we have 4 factions with same units, as i nthe thread army lists.

So we need something to make them different, some paint in the shirt or somewhere, the color of dress, dont know.

Maybe somebody can do some little research and decide what color put on different skins.

    Very nice work, palissa.

I don´t know if there were any different items for East franks or west franks. I think you can add an archaic eagle for the imperial faction, but don´t know any more. In fact at 843 AD were exactly the same soldiers at west or east.

At RTR different hellenistic kingdom phalangites are different only in dress or armor details. In other factions there were no differences between same soldiers from different factions, so I think could be not very important.

    I see.
Well, some distinction in color or such, is to give some visual difference in battlefield, or in unit card, i dont know.
Anyway difference will be done by the banner on the battlefield. I can kinda easily change color of dress of the units in case we want different.

Actually there doesn't have to be a difference. The banners make it easy to differ between units of different factions, even if the soldiers look exactly identical. If they're identical to all, the download will also be smaller, which is good.

hi all,it's only about the templer Knights Templar and the mod is finishing in the 1099 at juresalem fall.
the order was founded around 1118 by French nobleman Hughes de Payens, a veteran of the First Crusade. He gathered eight other knights; their stated mission was to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land. King Baldwin II of Jerusalem gave them a headquarters on the Temple Mount, above what was believed to be the ruins of the Temple of Solomon. It was from this location that the Order took its name of Templar.
i fear that adding this Knights is historicly wrong and this type of knights appear in the age of saladin.also with the paladin they appear in the rennaissance.
    the units are good.

Well, then must revise the army list.
I make the units how are in the unit list, so must check it first :)
Anyway was fun make those, even if not use it.

I know templars were founded a bit after 1099, but there should be a little chance of altering history It's just by a few years and players probably won't get them until the last few turns of the game anyway... There are only very few units in the army lists where such compromises have been made.
