No worries about not posting this weekend. It's not like we pay you to entertain us. There are more important things in life than telling a story to some guys you haven't seen in real life.

Ten again praise and glory can be so addictive.

That's good to know, when I start something like this I feel I have to meet standards, but I know in the back of my mind that I don't.

No pressures, mate. Just post when you feel like it. Otherwise it's not fun to write about it if you feel you're obligated to.

    Good stuff.

I hope the next installment has upped the speed slightly, 31 years and only one battle must be making those Vikings a little bit bored!

LOL! Given daneboy was referring to the the Roman Senate in RTW, that's a not entirely inapporpriate twist on the acronym.

(Alright, sorry for the wait guys, but here it is, not the happiest issue ever, I'm afraid.)

    Tragedy of a Kingdom

    1121 AD:
The French were named the most powerful kingdom yet! The Germans fear their location, and for their lives!

    1122 AD:

Prince Hardeknud comes of age. Although he is secretly a homosexual, he is known to be a very amazingly nice person.

Lord Thorsteinsson, Earl of Denmark, was honored with the title of Earl Chamberlain of Denmark, as well!

Denmark's first ever Emissary, Halstan Gille, was deployed from Denmark to travel to Sweden, and possibly bribe the Norwegian rebel leader.

    1123 AD:

An Italian assassin was captured and executed in Denmark. Possibly the Italians are looking to criple the Danes?

Not only are the French the most powerful Kingdom, but they are also the richest! They truly are the most blessed faction by God!

The Spanish are back, attacking in Leon and Castile! The returning Heir sent letters to all former Spanish allies, including the Danes, who danced for joy for the buffer faction to return and fight off the Almohads!

    1124 AD:

Halstan Gille, the Emissary from Denmark, was sent and bribed the Norwegian general and his army for 2,457 Florins.

A Byzantine Assassin was captured and executed in Denmark. Do they too want Denmark destroyed?

    1125 AD:

Halstan Gille, an amazing person and emissary, was assassinated out of his room in a hotel in Norway. A moment of silence was assigned the next day by Prince Olaf, in honor of him.

After the former rebel army was capable of being used, no army was left to defend Norway, and it was conquered!

Not only are the French the strongest faction and richest, but they also are the most advanced! The Germans quiver with fear!

    1126 AD:

Harald Loftsson, the bribed army general, was named the Earl of Norway, in hopes of securing his loyalty.

Another Assassin hired by the Byzantines has been captured and killed in Denmark!

    1127 AD:

According to a survey conducted by the Pope, the Danish have the most loyal populace of all other factions!

King Olaf I, knowing that Harald Loftsson wasn't loyal enough, sent his daughter, Princess Cecile, to marry him.

    1129 AD:

It was an early morning, December 17th, 1129. King Olaf's most loyal servant walked into his sleeping chambers to wake him for his early morning breakfast, when he found King Olaf stiff and unliving. King Olaf I has died, but his legacy will live on forever, as the man who jumpstarted the Danish society for over 54 years!

Sadly, the King never got to see the complete project of the Fort in Norway.

    1130 AD:

King Olaf I's youngest son, Prince Christoffer, has come of age. Being the youngest of six sons, he has developed the trait of being a hedonist, and is very lazy.

Prince Olaf, the former King's eldest son, has been crowned the King of Denmark. He wears his father's crown proudly, as King Olaf II. Letters from Denmarks allies are received, wishing King Olaf II the best best of luck, and the wisdom and knowledge needed to lead a country, until the day he dies! Although he is already 55 years old, he feels he will do a great deal of accomplishments, as King of Denmark!

(I hope you enjoyed my third issue! I assure you, the fourth issue will be more action packed.)

Wow Zain, I don't think I've see a small faction's king be so influential before. Looks like Olaf II is going to accomplish magnificient feats and lead his people to greatness!

how do you your influence up with only your economy? As far as I know you fought only one battle, did no crusades (denmark can't) and relieved no sieged allies. The only thing that worked in your for you was the adoration event. So how did you do it?

Holy cow the French are doing great! My only question is why did you make that guy Jarl of Norway? Sweden would have been a much greater choice even if you had to disband the old governor. Damn assassins though, it's like VI! Good job with the bribe and keep the pervert, in the long run it will be good for the kingdom.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

I don't know what you mean by Jarl of Norway, but Earl of Norway is what it is. Either way, it must have been a typo.

Anyway, He became the Earl of Norway simply so his loyalty would come up and because he had amazing Acumen.

Wow, incredible story. It nice to not be able to figure out what's going on in the rest of the world, except by those messages (no use of -ian). I have been wondering if we can post campaigns in here. I guess I can consider the question answered with this thread, the spanish campaigns, and the come see naples and die! one. Alot of great work.

Keep it up, and don't worry about rushing to post, unlike Csar I am very patient.
